Description
"Mm..my lipstick smudged. Can't have that!!"
Normally, she would have special ordered a unique mannequin to help with the fitting, but she lacked the bits to do so. Despairing that she would never be able to make her new dresses, she closed down her boutique for a few days to think.....or she would have if an annoying suitor didn't constantly ring at her door. The man was always trying to propose to her, and while she was flattered by the offer, she knew he wasn't "Mr. Right", so she pushed him away. He kept on coming back though, annoying Rarity to the peak of her patience. Soon, she had had enough, and a recent encounter with her friends gave her an idea that would help her, as Applejack would say, "Tie two cattle with one rope".
When next the suitor came, she invited him into the shop. He, thinking that she would finally accept, followed her into her creation room, where she made and designed her clothes. It was here that Rarity enacted her plan. Without any warning, she spun around and hefted the man into the air, where she then proceeded to swallow him whole. Once her would be suitor was struggling inside of her belly, she sat down and waited for him to calm down long enough so that she could take some measurements for her, hopefully, new set of clothing.
Surprisingly, the new line was a huge hit, and she soon had more than enough bits to buy a special mannequin. Unsurprisingly, the suitor, once she had let him out, didn't return after he left the shop.
Rarity was so happy that the line was so successful that she wanted to make another line, but instead of buying a new mannequin, she decided to stick to her "Gut feeling" of how she got the first measurements. That, and she rather enjoyed the feeling of a living person inside her belly.
Now, every time she wanted to make a new Large Belly dress or suit, she would lure an unsuspecting person into her shop and devour them whole, often times keeping them inside of her for the whole night. After releasing her "Measuring assistants", as she took to calling them, they would either leave the town altogether, or they would willingly come back, where she happily swallowed them again, even if she didn't need to measure anything.
Recently, some people have been craving larger dresses though, so maybe Rarity'll have to get more than one assistant to help her out?"
